A joint venture between Sri Lanka and South Korea, built on a single conviction — that every Sri Lankan deserves access to safe, pure, standardized drinking water.
CEYKO International (PVT) Ltd. — trading as Pure Life Water — is incorporated under Sri Lanka's Companies Act No. 07 of 2007 (Registration No. 131749 PV). Our registered office and assembly facility are located at No: 835/10, Siyambalapewatta, Delgoda, Biyagama.
Our story begins in 2014, under the Research and Development category, operating with BOI approval (Act No. BOI – 17). At inception, the organization was known as Dio Lanka (Reg.PV.114410), with a clear and focused mission: to deeply understand Sri Lanka’s water quality challenges.
From 2014 to 2017, we conducted extensive, island-wide research on water quality, covering both urban and rural regions. For nearly two and a half years, our team worked across the country analyzing water conditions, contamination levels, and the real-life challenges faced by communities relying on unsafe water sources.
This national-level research initiative was initially carried out under the guidance of the Government’s Samurdhi Ministry, ensuring both reach and credibility at a grassroots level.
In 2018, this foundation evolved into a major turning point when we partnered with Ceylon Korea (CEYKO), forming a strong international collaboration. This joint venture between Korean and Sri Lankan investors transformed our research-driven initiative into a large-scale, solution-oriented enterprise that continues to grow today.
We were driven by a critical national reality: only around 30% of Sri Lanka’s population has access to treated water, while the remaining 70% depend on rivers, wells, and unregulated sources—posing a serious public health risk.
We are a Joint Venture between Korean and Sri Lankan investors, born from the recognition that Sri Lanka's water supply system meets only 30% of national demand. The remaining 70% of the population drinks from rivers, wells, and unregulated sources — a serious public health crisis.
To address this, we combined international technology with local expertise. Our filter cartridges are manufactured by Synopex Co. Ltd. in South Korea, holding ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
We import and assemble the Pure Life Water Purifier locally at our Biyagama facility — the first water filter assembled in Sri Lanka. Today, Pure Life Water proudly stands as the first company to assemble water purification systems in Sri Lanka, backed by years of research, international partnerships, and a deep commitment to improving public health.
